Many technologies are implemented technically but the non-technical aspects of the implementation are poorly deployed. Change Management - Embedding a new technology, deliver the value

Technically implementing a new system or a significant upgrade is standard these days. IT departments do it all the time and there are many years of experience supporting good practice. What is not practiced well is managing the change to the organisation and the users.

What communication plans are in place? What training and support structures have been thought of? How will users adapt to the new system or upgrade? Skillful management of the human and team aspects of change lead to successful adaption to the new system and the new way of working.
